Sorry it has been soooooo long since i have updated this thing. time just seems to slip away. im planning on starting a new blg for the summer so if anyone is willing to help me out on the layout please email me at tochinaforchloe@yahoo.com. Everything is good here, Chloe is growing and talking like crazy! Here are a few pics from the past month..all were taken with my new Nikon D40 camera i got for christmas. some things about Chloe: she has taken a amazing facination with horses and is even riding! my best friend rides horses and has a pony Beauty and Chloe rides her and just loves it..she is quite the natural =] she also loves Barney as of lately and loves to sing all the songs with the children on the show.

I know i know im like two weeks late on posting this but you know what they say better late than never. lol. well Chloe's party was fabolous and she had an absolute blast like i knew she would. We started the week before her party telling her that she would be having a party soon and that she was going to be two so she kept going around the house saying "paryyy" and "i be two" while holding up two of her fingers, it was soooo precious =). Well we had her party at KidSenses and of course had an Elmo party since Chloe just adores him and was so excited about her "Elmo caKE!" it was one of her favorite parts i think! The cake was actually a cupcake cake shaped like elmo's head, sooo cute! Heres a picture of it...i got alot of attention walking around walmart carrying it hehe!

I wish i had taken a picture of Chloe's face when she saw her cake, it was priceless. she was so in awe of it and just kept on saying "elmo" "elmo"! She blew her candles out like such a big girl i was so proud of my big girl and just almost cried seeing the excitement in her eyes throughout the whole party. she makes me sooooo happy!!!
Those are my favorite picture of Chloe, i love her face and the joy in her face on both of them. She also looks sooo big in them.

Chloe had a great birthday even though i don't think she actually comprehends the whole birthday meaning she still had fun at our little family party. If you ask her about her birthday she continues to say "i'll be TWO" even though we keep telling her you ARE two, she cracks me up =). Tomorrow is the big birthday party so we are getting ready for that, Im giving her a powerwheels barbie ATV and i cant wait to see her reaction because she loves "mo-cycles".

Sorry for the lack of posting in the past few months...things have been crazy hectic and not in a good way and i promise i will catch up on the last few months in a couple of days and post plenty of pics but for now I want to do a special post because tomorrow my sweet asian princess turns TWO.

With this milestone comes so many mixed emotions for me. I was talking to my best friend Cady on the phone last night and I was telling her about how I wonder if Chloe's birthmother is thinking of her at this very moment and if she ever thinks about the child she gave up on this date two years ago? There is just so many unanswered questions i have that i can't even put into words that just seem to come to life on this day. I just wish I could see her birthmother and thank her for this precious child just to let her know how Chloe is loved by so many people and how much joy she has brought into my life. Its bittersweet. Cady was listening to this amazing song the other day while on the phone with me called Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawks. The lyrics of this song seem to speak to me and remind me of Chloe's birthmother and the emotions she might have had on that day two years ago. The feelings that I can't put into words seem to be in this song. Tomorrow Cady and I are taking Chloe some fun places for her birthday then we are having a family party later that evening. Chloe's party isin't until saturday and of course its an ELMO party so look for pictures =). Long time no update

Man has it really been a month since ive updated?!?! wow. what a month! So lots of pictures to share and Chloe info to dish out. This post is probably going to be jumbled and all over the place as i have a lot of stuff to update on an information to share. Ive been super busy with school and other activities that I hardly ever get to snap pictures of miss thang anymore besides the pictures I am taking for my photography class (i will share some at the end of the sem.). Chloe is growing at lightning speed and continues to amaze me with her ability to take in information and learn new things. She can now name about 6 different animal sounds when asked and can point to her eyes, ears, nose, mouth and eyes when asked. She also LOVES to look at her books and will sit down and "read" forever if you let her. She has grown and matured so much since that day in december when she became my sister and amazes me everyday

I snapped this picture of Chloe in her pj's on our nana and pop's porch last week and yes it got chilly last week so thats why shes wearing the jacket =]

Now onto halloween. Oh am i ever psyched about that and can't wait to take Chloe trick-or-treating, ive been dreaming about this for years! So Chloe does have a costume and im sure everyone wants to know what our sweet girl is going to be. Of course we HADD to dress her as a ladybug to continue the China good luck charm tradition alive. heh. So check out our little ladybug (she will have little sparkly shoes and cute makeup and accessories by 10/31)

Like i mentioned briefly in the last post, Chloe is infatuated with my new bff Cady and just loves it when she comes and spends the night which is a lot as Cady is practically a member of the family. Cady is so good with her and we have such fun playing and acting crazy together, and did i mention she has lots of horses with is one of Chloe's favorite animals?! I take Chloe at least once a week to see the "orseys" and to watch Cady ride them and she loves loves loves playing outside with all the horses it just makes her day! I am still amazed at the bond Chloe has formed with Cady and it just warms my heart to see Chloe smile when Cady comes over. Chloe has a little pegboard in her room with pictures of family and of course Cady, she goes up to it everyday and points to the picture and says "ca-ey" over and over =]

Taking a break

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, classes started last friday & im enrolled full time so ive been busy with all that not so fun stuff . Ive decided to take a bit of a blogger break again, im not sure how long it will be but i just really haven't had the time/energy to blog. The only thing ive been doing on here besides school stuff is myspace haha.

Heres a quick update....Chloe is doing great and is getting more and more comfortable with going to other people. we've had a really hard time getting her to let other people hold her besides our really close family that she sees everyday. Last week i had a friend spend the night almost every night so Chloe got used to seeing a new person and getting comfortable with her and will now reach out for my friend to hold her when shes around. Chloe even reached out for her today while i was holding her and it made me happy to see her trust build.

My Glamour Girl

Chloe loves putting on sunglasses and walking around with them on, no matter whos sunglasses they are! This poor kid doesn't even have much of a nose so she has to balance them with her hands to keep them on which makes it more adorable if you ask me =). Sometimes she will tilt her head back to keep them from falling and i joke with her about being a gangsta because she looks like shes trying to be "cool", lol. She does have a pair of her own, little pink ones that we've had for a while but she prefers the over-sized ones like the ones i wear which are big (because we all know that big sunglasses are in) the bigger the sunglasses the cuter they look on her with her tiny nose =). I call her my little glamour girl a lot when she wears them because she looks SO glamourous!!

8 months a family!!!

Sorry for the lack in posting lately, classes started friday so ive been busy getting my schedule fixed, getting school supplies, etc.
Yesterday we celebrated 8 months since Chloe day! Its hard to believe its been 8 whole months since Chloe was handed to us, 8 months of amazing fun filled days with this precious child! I know i say this alot but its truly amazing the strides Chloe has made since day 1, just having the ability to trust us to supply her needs never ceases to amaze me. This has been the most amazing journey and i am forever grateful to have the opportunity to love this sweet girl.
I love comparing each month's picture to the previous ones just to see how much Chloe has grown so this month i added one of the referral pictures we recieved to this slide show.

My Brown Eyed Girl (and bubbles!)

You probably know where im going with this post just by the title...so after seeing dozens of websites with this adorable shirt on them i finally broke down and bought Miss Chloe THE shirt everyone talks about, because everyone does love a brown eyed girl!

We have this pig bubble maker that spits out bubbles when you press the handle on the back that Chloe LOVES. We've had it for a while but Chloe was scared of it for the longest time and wouldn't even get near the thing yet seems to have grown to love it. Its so adorable the way she says "bubbles!" with such excitement, oh how I love this girl!

Lastly I wanted to post a cute collage of Chloe from yesterday after we got home from a day of shopping! Aren't her little Cr0c$ just to die for?

Chloe's first haircut and weekend ramblings!

Lately we have been noticing that Miss Chloe's hair has been getting way long in the front and was even touching her nose and the back had started to look uneven so we decided that it was time for her to get her first haircut (not counting the fact that her head was shaved in China). We really weren't sure how she would react to it but she did great and was a champ through the whole thing. All she really got was a little trim on the front and also on the back to cut all the dead ends she had so her hair can grow faster and thicker now! Her hair looks alot healther now and is sooo easy to do, I personally think it makes her look a lot older!

Taken saturday, looking pretty for the social worker =)!

Saturday after our social worker came to do the 1st placement visit me and Chloe were playing around in our family room where she was acting like a little ham doing the funnest things and making the funniest faces. She would do her "drama queen" act and come running towards me with her arms out in front of her going "aahhhhh" pretending to be screaming coming towards me to "knock" me down, it was priceless (I SO need to video it, might do that soon!) So i grabbed my camera (of course) and shot this picture which we (my parents and I) think is hilerious!

Saturday night I took Chloe over to our cousin's house so she could play with her cousin Mason who will be 3 in october and it was so funny watching them together! Of course it took Chloe a while to warm up to them especially with a hyper little boy running circles around her, but once she did they started to play and laugh together. So Mason's mom and I decided to load them up in her car and take them to play at Mason's grandparents house which Chloe enjoyed alot! I thought they looked so cute in the car on the way that i had to take a picture (imagine that, lol).

Tomorrow me, mom and Chloe are going shopping for a few early fall clothes. YES!! Gymboree here I come!!! I am sooo excited about their new princess line which just happens to be PURPLE, my favorite color =)

Sorry it has taken me sooo long to post the beach pics but it's taken me forever to do the collages, probably because I took so many pictures during our beach trip! I LOVE Charleston and The Isle of Palms and cannot wait to go back (hopefully during Labor Day!). I think it would be an understatement to say that Chloe enjoyed the beach, she had the time of her life and charmed every single person she came in contact with!
Tomorrow afternoon our social worker is coming to do the post placement visit so Chloe will have on one of my personal favorite outfits for the occasion ( so i will be taking lots of pics) and even got her very first haircut today to go along with it (pics of that to come!) So this is pretty much it for playing catch up from my hiatus, so next time you see pics of Miss Chloe she will be sporting her new hairdo!!!

Getting back in the groove of things

Hi all! We're back from the beach, got back friday night after a great week of relaxing. We all had a wonderful time and again Chloe just adored the beach and being on vacation but was a little confused at first about why she wasn't at home and was having to sleep with me. I of course took tons of pictures each day and will post them in the next few days. For a little pre beach recap...like i mentioned in the last post we went to a reunion with our China travel group and it went great. It was so nice to see all the girls again and see how much they have grown in 7 months and just spend time with the people we spent the two weeks in China with. Every family except for one were able to come (the other family lives in California but we were able to talk to them on the phone for a little bit so that was nice) and we took a "not so red couch" picture like the one taken back in december and they did a little better with this one than the last one as most of them weren't screaming their heads off this time!

Just a quick post to let you all know everything is going good here, just been takin it easy this week and swimming almost everyday! We are getting ready to head out for a 7 month reunion with our China travel buddies, everyone but one family is coming so it should be a lot of fun to see all the girls again! Monday we are going on our yearly family vacation to Charleston so im so stoaked about that and am not bringing my laptop. Chloe is doing great and just loves being ouside enjoying the summer weather. I will be back in about a week or two and will be posting a bunch of photos taken during my hiatus so look for that and enjoy the rest of your summer! Of course I can't end this post without a few pics to give you a "Chloe fix" heh. Enjoy!

Today was such a lovely day. We went to our friends house swimming and laying around the pool this afternoon and Chloe just loved it. There were 3 little boys there who were 2, 5 and 6 so Chloe would watch everything they did and usually copied it so it was a pefect learning experience for her! She thoroughly enjoys spending time outside and near the water. She is getting more and more comfortable in the water and even started splashing her feet in it today, we think probably because she saw the boys doing it and wanted to be just like them! I love the picture below, I took it right before we left to go home, when i put her little swimsuit cover-up on, so thats why she has a hood on! I love it because her face just looks so precious and it shows her profile so great, my sweet baby girl.

VBS day 5- family fun night

Yesterday we had our last day of VBS with a family fun night and miss Chloe had a blast! Her favorite thing was the huge inflatable slide that she made me go on at least a dozen times which gets tiring because i have to carry her up it (and its really high up) and also help some of the little kids get up it at the same time, but she enjoyed it so thats really all that matters anyway lol. She really liked seeing all the people and would walk up to them waving then she would give them hugs it was SOOOO sweet! It really was a perfect day for it because it wasen't too hot and it didn't rain so it went great. Tomorrow morning we have bible school commencement and that will offically be the end of vbs. VBS day 4

Tired.tired.tired. Thats me! So extra quick post. Im going to explain the middle picture right quick....every year I dress up as a character and dance for the kids, being like a life size bible school mascot. This year im a penguin and Chloe LOVES it, so i took her to see the penguin before church today and picked up the head and she loved on it forever, so thats why you can see a big eye and beak in the middle picture, LOL.

VBS day 3- Chloe's monkmee outfit

Well we are halfway through bible school and I am sooo glad, lol, nah you just gotta keep in mind that we have been working on it for 3 months so I will be glad in a way when its over. I am so stoaked about friday though because its Family Fun Night, a night where we wrap up VBS week in an all out extravaganza with huge inflatable slides, moonwalks, etc. It is such fun and the kids love it! We even have cotton candy and lemonade stands...what kid doesn't love sugary fun!!! Anyway back to tonight, Chloe wore her little Gymboree monkey outfit where she learned to say "monkey". I asked her what was on her shirt and she said "Monkmee" it was soooo adorable, she had never said it like that before, heh! Well I was going to write more but im beat and not in the mood to type anymore so enjoy the pics!

VBS day 2-Chloes first Icee!

I'm so exhausted tonight so this post is going to be extra quick. I took a lot of pictures tonight so there is two collages of Chloe, one is just a few pictures from today and the other one is of Chloe eating her very first icee at VBS tonight! VBS day 1

Ive decided to take a little time each night this week to post a picture of Chloe at her first VBS. I think its an important thing to do for Chloe to document something like this and have it to look back on years to come. This year's theme is called Take The Plunge, its all about water and having fun in the SON! Im not going to write much its really just going to be a picture (or two maybe) per post. Like i mentioned in the post before its going to be a crazy week and i wont be online much, just long enough to download the pictures and make a quick collage of our sweet girl. So heres tonight's!

Chloe's first Build A Bear!

This will probably be my last post for about a week because we have VBS at my church next week and my parents and I are over it so I will be pretty busy.

Yesterday me, mom and Chloe went shopping and took Chloe to Build A Bear for the first time so she could make her own stuffed animal. I think she was pretty confused by it all and made it clear that she did not like the animals that were not stuffed yet. They had so many to choose from but we went with the bear that is like "baby's first bear", its super soft and has its eyes sewn in so we don't have to worry about them coming off and Chloe eating them. heh. Anyway she had such a blast "making" her bear which we named "Xing Xing" because that was Chloe's nickname at MaoNan (her orphanage). We even put a little Hello Kitty shirt on her (the bear) and bought a little pink stroller so Chloe could stroll Xing Xing everywhere, which she did! She LOVES that stroller and strolled her bear all over the mall, it was so funny and adorable.

4th highlights

Wow, we had a great day yesterday just relaxing by the pool with family and friends all day then having a awesome cookout later that evening. It was the perfect day all together. Chloe never slowed down the whole day and went from 2:00 to 10:00 straight, walking and playing, swimming, eating, the works! She had such fun and charmed everyone there with that sweet disposition that we all love so very much. Well im watching Chloe for my mom and it sounds like she just woke up from her nap so enjoy the pics, im off to watch Elmo with my girl!

Fireworks!

Quick post. Chloe had a great day today, she got to feed the ducks for the first time and got to see her first fireworks which she loved. She ooh'ed and ahh'ed throughout the whole thing and went "woah!" when it was a big bang part while she pointed up to the sky, so cute! She really enjoyed it i think and at the finale she started jumping up and down with big bright eyes and clapped so hard at the end. It was a great day overall. Tomorrow to celebrate the 4th we are off to a friend's house to swim and relax all day and have a cookout with some fireworks later that night. Im so excited to celebrate this holiday with Chloe, the holiday all about America's freedom. After taking a child from a country with no freedom to this great country all about freedom just warms my heart. We plan on going all out this year and sharing our love for this country with Chloe, we even bought her a little American Flag bikini & cute outfit with a shirt that says I YAmerica with jean capris, sooo adorable! I will obviously be taking tons of pictures of our sweet girl tomorrow so look for some collages in the next few days. I hope you fellow American's have a great 4th and spend it with family and friends reflecting on the meaning of Independence Day.

9Teen Months Old

Friday our sweet girl turned 19 months old and we had a great day starting with a little photoshoot outside. It was so humid out so I did it quick and Chloe did great, she pushed her little corn popper around the whole time and looked adorable in her ladybug dress. Some notes of interest about Chloe at 19 months old:
~weighs 22 lbs (in 10th percentile weight on American chart but 50th percentile Chinese chart)
~wears 12 month clothes, 6-12 months in Gymboree
~wears size 4 shoe
~likes green beans, cantaloupe, tomatos, corn on cob, salads, ketchup, etc
~some favorite things: Elmo, her stuffed dog, blowing kisses, piggyface, likes to brush hair and do her "makeup"

Later that afternoon I put together her water table then me, mom and Chloe went outside where she got to play with it for the first time! She really enjoyed it and stayed out for a while splashing and just having fun!

A Pink Duck!

Chloe had such a great day today! We ( just me and the kidlet)hung out for a while at the house then went to wally world to pick up a couple of things for mom then came back to play for a while. While at w-mart we went by the outdoor toy department and found the cutest little watering can's for kids, all different colors with different animals on them, so cool! Anyway I wanted to get a pink one (of course) and they only had 2 left, one of which was a duck, which is so totally awesome since one of Chloe's new things to do is say "quack" when you ask her what a duck says. So I was psyched about finding it but Chloe seemed confused when I showed it to her and said "look it's a duck" and it wasn't yellow, heh! So when we got home with the pink duck I was extra excited because we bought Chloe a water table yesterday and I thought it would be the perfect time to put it together but the weather thought otherwise =(. For the 4th day in a row huge clouds were rolling in and we were expected to get a thunderstorm *sigh* i was so bummed, but we did have time to go for a little nature walk around our house to "water" the flowers and grass, and i got a chance to take some great pics of our sweet girl with her new watering can!
Side note: Chloe has just started to smile for the camera and get's so excited when i tell her "say cheese!" She goes "cheeeee" and gets the biggest grin on her face, perfect for a good shot!!

Chloe has had a fun filled week so far, slam packed in pure summer joys. I've watched her all day for the past 2 days so we've had a bunch of sissy time together. Monday after Chloe had a yummy lunch of green beans, sweet potatos and cantaloupe we headed out to my friends house for a while where Chloe got to play outside with my friend's 2 1/2 year old daughter and 6 year old brother. While the older kids got in the pool, Miss Chloe got to play with the water table and had so much fun splashing and laughing. She had never played with a water table before and had such fun that we are headed out right now to go buy her a table of her own. Later that evening we stayed for dinner where Chloe had a delicious plate of baked spaghetti with her first cup of grape juice and loved it! She was so tired when we got home after having a full day with her big sissy!

Yesterday I decided to take Chloe swimming at our friends house and i'm so glad I did. She had such fun playing in her little pool with a little cup that she filled up with water then dumped it out on herself and laughed so hard that she could barely keep herself balanced! She didn't really like getting in her ladybug float in the big pool though, so she mainly stayed on the steps with her little cup! She thought it was hilerious when some of the other kids there played chicken and fell into the water and laughed so hard she nearly lost her breath, it was so cute! I am enjoying summertime even more since Miss Chloe is here and can't wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for us!

Chloe's Purple Dress

Not sure if i've mentioned this before but my favorite color is purple! I have always loved it and even have purple walls in my room, lilac walls with dark purple sponged on top. heh. When i was younger ( and now still) i would always want to buy anything that was either purple or rainbow, so now i have a huge pile of purple/multicolored stuffed animals but really haven't bought anything for Chloe thats purple.
It seems like when we go shopping for Chloe we always tend to buy everything pink (shocker) probably because majority of the cute girly clothes are pink . When we were shopping at CarTer$ one day a few months back we came across this adorable purple dress and i just had to have it for Miss Chloe, so we obviously bought it and she's worn it a few times but i've never actually taken a picture of her with it on (I know i am a horrible sister..lol) so yesterday Chloe was wearing it and i took a couple of pics of her and she looks SO cute with it on, heh!

Seventeen

Yesterday me and Chloe were playing in my room when she picked up my Seventeen Magazine from my couch and started flipping through it like she knew what she was doing, it was hilerious! She would concentrate so hard on looking at it and everytime she would flip a page shed go "oohh" and start waving at the people on the pages and would even give them kisses sometimes. On one page theres a picture of Rihannas Pomeranian puppy that looks just like our dog Cookie so when Chloe saw that dog her eyes lit up and she started pointing and saying "dooo" which is what she calls our dog. Also this month's Seventeen magazine was one where you have to flip the magazine around to read the special insert about Americas Next Top Model and Chloe knew that the pictures were upside down and would flip it the right way when she got to that page, smart girl that one! She surprised me by sitting and "reading" that magazine for at least 10 mintues and only stopped because I took it from her when she decided that it would be fun to rip the pages into little tiny shreads. If nothing else, at least the kid has a great taste in magazines, heh, she learns from the best i suppose!

Chloe's Bear

Chloe has been in love with her big bear since not long after we got home from China, and now she will just lay on him and snuggle up to him sometimes. She is so protective over him and really doesn't like anyone else to snuggle up to him for long, umm ok?! Sounds to me like we are in the midst of toddlerdom.

Yesterday marked the 6th month since we first held Chloe in our arms and we fell in love with this child that was meant to be apart of our family. 6 glorious months ago our lives were transformed forever with the addition of this precious child who God had planned for us all along and like i've said countless times, i thank Him everyday for her because I know in my heart that she has changed not only my life but the lives of the many people that she meets. She continues to be my inspiration every single day and I am so very lucky to have her apart of my life.

You may have noticed Chloe is holding a little pink bible in the 6 month picture above, well that bible is Chloe's first bible that was given to her about 2 months ago by a very dear friend of my nana's who sadly passed away yesterday morning so I decided to take some pictures of Chloe with it. She loved Chloe so much and lit up everytime she got to see our sweet girl and gave her that precious baby bible personalized with Chloes name on the front and a special little message on the inside for Chloe. She lived right beside my nana & pops so we would walk Chloe up to see her a lot and say "heres your baby!" and she would smile and play with her and even got to feed Chloe her bottle a few times, she will be missed.

BTW A few of you asked about the program I use to do my collages, it is called Lumapix and I found it via Donna at Double Happiness. It is a really good program and best of all its easy to do, i recommend it to all!!

Father's Day Weekend!

Lots of pictures to share so im going to make this quick and painless, lol. Im going to do a little recap of each day then show pictures from that day!

Friday night we went to a cookout for my great uncle and Chloe got to run around all evening and socialize with a lot of our extended family so that was fun! I captured a great action shot of Chloe running towards me and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!

Saturday we really didn't do that much, I watched Chloe most of the day and we just ran some errands for my mom and Chloe got a little present, a ELMO BLANKET!! Let's just say that Chloe was so thrilled with it and it totally made her day. When we got home and I opened it she immediatly ran around the house with it saying "Elbow, elbow,elbow!" and going "Awwww" while she dug her head into it, sooooo precious. I didn't realize it until today, but the blanket matched the outfit Chloe had on saturday so it looks funny in the pics all coordinated..lol!

Saturday night we played peek-a-boo for a while with the newly beloved Elmo blanket...
Today after church we went out to eat for Fathers Day and spent the day relaxing around the house doing a whole lot of nothing! Chloe took a nice long nap for me while my dad watched some golf tournament on TV. I hope you all had a good weekend and a great Fathers Day!

The other day Chloe was lovin on her bear in her room so i decided to video her and try to get her to say a few words for the camera (not so easy to do with a 18 month old, usually she just wants to grab whatever's in my hands!) I love the way her little voice sounds and just had to share it with you all! Make sure you have your volume on and listen closely because sometimes it's hard to tell what shes saying. Most of the video shes going "awwww" to her little bear but besides that she says these words:

In case you can't tell from the video, this girl LOVES her big bear and LOVES to lay on him and roll all over him while giving him kisses, hugs and sweetly saying "awwwwwww". I just love her and love the way she loves her little stuffed animals. She truly is a precious girl!

Check out my new blog layout & title, i totally love it!! I decided to spice things up a bit and asked Emily to help me with it, and since I love icons i decided to have them as the background & decided to add a new title to it so i chose "Sippy Cups & Smiles" just because i thought it sounded cute..hehe. Thanks sooo much Emily for giving my blog a facelift, you did a great job =)

As you all know, Miss Chloe has way to many outfits (hehe) and really hasn't even had a chance to wear every single outfit yet! The other day she wore this outfit that was pink & green stripes with the cutest little jean shorts that had a heart on them and omg it looked SO cute on her!! Chloe only has 2 pair of jean shorts and i just LOVE the way they look on her..hehe!

Spaghetti Girl

Our sweet girl LOVES spaghetti and since we don't eat it that much, whenever we do we make sure to let Chloe have some good messy fun with it which just makes her so happy. It is such a hoot to watch her with it, smushing it between her fingers and trying her best to put it in her mouth handfulls at a time which usually means getting more in her high chair than in her mouth! Whenever she eats spagetti we now strip her down to only her diaper after making the mistake of letting her keep her shirt on one time which left a nice big spaghetti stain on it. Yea we definetly learned from that mistake!

Yesterday we ( me, mom, dad and Chloe) went to Lake Bowen where some friends of ours have a lake house and had fun with some close friends. It was Chloe's first time on the lake and also her first boat ride! She really had fun playing with the kids there and got to get in the water and splash around for a bit in her brand new swimsuit, and really enjoyed herself. As usual she was the center of attention as she was the youngest there and the only kid under the age of 10 so it was pretty much all eyes on her. She loved being outside especially since she hasn't been allowed to go outside and play for almost a week now and didn't want to leave. I'm so glad she got to feeling better and we were able to go yesterday, she definetly deserved to go outside and play after the bad week she had!

Look at that smiling face! Thanks to a little "Elmo therapy" together with the nice doctor and great medicine to help her foot, miss Chloe is feeling a lot better and is slowly getting back to her old self! There are a couple of precautions we are taking to make sure Chloe gets better as quick as possible, such as limiting the amount of time she stays out in the sun, because one of the medications shes on recommends that. We are also trying to let her go barefoot as much as we can so her foot can breathe and aren't letting her play outside execpt for strolling in her little red car.

Chloe's first trip to the ER

Yup its true, last night we had to take our sweet girl to the ER. Miss Chloe got bit by some kind of insect on the top of her foot the other day while playing outside and by monday night it was swollen and very inflamed. We werent alarmed until her little toes started turning a purplish color and the top of her foot had a few blisters which were draining a clear fluid, so we decided not to chance anything and drove to the Pediatric ER in Spartanburg (about 30 min from our house). We are so glad we did! They got us in quick and were so nice to Chloe, they even gave her a little stuffed Elmo which she obviously LOVED! The Dr. told us that theres really no way to know exactly what bit her since we didn't acutally see the insect and prescribed an antibiotic & another type of mediacation for allergies so Chloe should be good to go in a few days! She was a little trooper and LOVED the little crib in our room at the ER. I took a few pics with my camera phone of our little sweety.

Weekend Recap

This weekend was pretty busy. Friday night me, mom, and Chloe decided to go out to eat and shopping for a bit, just us girls! We had a blast and Miss Chloe decided when we went out to eat that she wanted to be a "greeter" and wave to every single person who came in, it was sooo funny! Where we went to eat, Steak and Ale, they have this really nice little sitting area outside that Chloe just loved and I just HAD to take pics of because it was just really nice and Chloe had on one of my personal favorite dresses!

Saturday and sunday i decided to take a little break from taking pics because I always seem to miss a lot by constantly taking pics of our girl! Saturday we had a family reunion to go to and Chloe got to meet (& greet!) a lot of relatives, many of which hadnt seen Chloe yet. Chloe seemed to charm every single person there and got a lot of attention (of course). She is the only Chinese/Asian family member and I was so grateful to see how taken everybody was with her and just so very welcoming to her, which meant a lot to me. Later that day we went to a little birthday party for a little boy who we are really close to, and Chloe had a blast! Sunday after church we spent a lot of the afternoon with R&R then while I watched a little Top Model marathon, mom took Chloe over to my nana & pops house. When they got back, one of my friends and her sister came over to see our girl and Chloe got to spend some time with "the big girls" and just had a blast hanging out with us, laughing and carrying on, it was great! Now that the weekend's over, COME ON REFERRALS!!!!!!

Elbow!

It was bound to happen sooner or later, yep im talking about the four letter word E-L-M-O and our Chloe is officially obsessed with him! She LOVES anything Elmo, or "Elbow" as she calls him and will actually sit still and watch him as long as he's on the tv. So as you probably guessed, we have of course bought her a few Elmo goods including 2 of his videos, this one and this one. It's sorta odd because most kids start by watching Elmo on tv but my mom bought a little stuffed Elmo and thats what Chloe fell in love with but didn't know he came on tv. The first time she saw him on the big screen she flipped out yelling ELBOW! ELBOW! ELBOW! over and over again running in circles it was SO adorable. Me and mom knew that since CM is so in love with this red creature we HAD to buy her a Elmo outfit and we came across this adorable overall set with a big Elmo on the front and little cherry laces on the bottom and shirt which would make it Chloe's first pair of overalls ever!!Thats all it took for us to buy it! So today Miss CM wore it and OMG it is by far one of my personal fav's of her many (and i mean MANY) outfits which meant photoshoot time!! I also shot a very short video of Chloe lovin on Elmo and if you listen really really closely she says ELBOW kinda quietly, SO SO cute! Enjoy!

Today, my little sister turned 18 months old, and we had a great day together to celebrate this mini milestone! I still can't believe how big she is getting and that she is 18 months old already! It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating her 1st birthday right before we went to get her and now she has been part of our family for over 5 months, in that time she has grown and changed so much. Today was an extra important day for my family because we were not able to be united with Chloe in time for her 1st birthday, so this is the first birthday celebration we've had with her. She has brought so much joy into my life, and I am already SO proud of my big 18 month old girl! I love her more than anything, she is the sunshine of my life! **click the first collage to enlarge**

After dinner tonight, Miss CM got a big pink sugar cookie with sprinkles for her special day! She was so cute with it but had a hard time figuring out what she was supposed to do with such a large cookie but finally figured out what to do with it after seeing me, mom and nana eating a cookie of our own

Celebrate

Saturday night, one of my bestest friends Mary had a little get-together to celebrate her graduating, just her family and close friends got together for food, swimming and fun! Of course me, my parents and Chloe went and had a really good time celebrating this milestone in her life. Last year my parents threw me a surprise graduation party at the same place Mary had hers (my mom's best friends house) Anyway, I was SO glad to have Chloe here to help us celebrate this year, and i think Mary was too! Im so very proud of her and this accomplishment in her life, especially after the struggle she had with Leukemia. It was certainly a day of celebration. She doesn't graduate for another 2 weeks, but you can be sure that me and CM will be there with bells on! As usual, we took pictures!!

With that said, I hope you all take a moment today to remember every person who has sacrificed his/her life by serving in our military and ensuring our freedom. Happy Memorial Day............

Charleston pics finally

Sorry its took me so long to post these, i havent been on the computer much the past couple of days. As i mentioned before, Chloe loved the beach, so now so i can remember this "first" in Chloes life a little better, im going to post a little more about our first beach trip with miss CM! When we first arrived on the beach and sat Chloe down she instantly took to the sand and played like theres no tomorrow, she really didn't budge for like 10 minutes, she just played with the little sand toys we brought. Once she got bored with that she decided it was time to introduce herself to the surrounding people on the beach, so being the social butterfly she is, she went up and said "hey" to a lot of the people close to us. The rest of the day she walked all over the beach until we went to eat lunch, which on the way back she decided to fall asleep in her stroller so we layed her down in the sunsmart tent thing we bought. The first day went so well, i was really surprised about how good she did and how she just went with the flow and didn't fuss at all! Here are some pics from the first day....

The next day we decided to stay close to our hotel, which has a very nice pool area and little sand area right behind the resort. Chloe got in the pool for a little, it was very COLD so she didn't stay in long but got to get in her new adorable ladybug float!! Here are some pics from that day and one from the night before...

I snapped this pic of CM in her cute ladybug float..hehe....Before heading home, me, Chloe and mom went shopping in downtown Chalreston and stopped by Starbucks, where CM had fun playing with a little cup and shared a huge cookie with me. She was so silly eating that cookie, probably because it was the biggest cookie she had ever seen! Here are some pics from there....
This trip was a trip i had been dreaming of for so long, since before we started the adoption process. It was such a fun trip and i cannot wait to take Chloe back!!!

Beach Bums

What a terrific weekend at the beach. Chloe had an absolute blast and enjoyed every second of her first beach trip. As for me, im a little red around the shoulders (ouch) but ready to go back..lol.We were all amazed at how well Chloe took to all the new things going on around her, like the 3 hr car ride, the sand, ocean, odd surroundings, etc and much to our surprise she seemed to go with the flow throughout the entire trip. She couldn't get enough of the sand and played until she was all played out. It was such a joy to see her taking in everything around her and just having fun being a kid. I have tons of pics and lots of stories to go along with them, but blogger is not letting me post them for some weird reason, it keeps on giving me an error message, so check back soon for beach pics and lots of fun stories!

Staci tagged me, I have to write 7 things that few people know about me, or a few bloggy people know..hehe. Sounds like a good thing to do before I turn this computer off for good for the next 4 days, so here goes...

1. I started modeling when I was 5 years old. By the time I turned 12 i had been in 2 commercials, 4 dancewear catalogs, and countless fashion shows. It was my first job and yep i got paid for it too! =)

2. I am terrified of octopusus. OMG scares the daylights out of me, always has. When i was little I never wanted to go in an aquarium (and still wont) i am petrified. But only of real ones, most stuffed ones are ok.

3. I LOVE rainbows. Ever since i can remember ive been facinated with them, probably because of all the colors. They make me happy! When i was little i used to collect greeting cards with rainbows on them, any card that had a rainbow on it i wanted!

4. My Great Grandpa owned a zoo. My Nana grew up in a zoo (literally), her dad owned a county zoo and i used to go there a lot when i was little to feed the deer and all other animals. he had all kinds of animals from bears to tigers, llamas (my fav!), peacocks, and everything else imaginable! I think i was around 8 when he sold all his animals but I still remember a lot about it.

5. I hate the taste of anything with grape artificial flavoring. YUCK! Its weird because I like grapes/ most grape juice and my favorite color is purple but theres somthing about grape suckers that remind me of cough syrup *gag*. I used to tell people i was allergic to it just so they wouldnt give me a grape lollipop or candy.

6. My absolute favorite song is Beauty in the Breakdown by The Scene Aesthetic. If you haven't ever listened to it, you need to! I just love it and I love their music also.

7. I love Chloe Madison Xian more than anything in this world. She is everything to me, and has taught me the real meaning of true love. I cant imagine life without her. I feel like shes saved me somehow. Shes my little love bunny and I thank God everyday for her!

Chloe got her picture taken almost a month ago and they turned out great! She wore 2 outfits, a chinese outfit we bought in Guangzhou and a dress from Gymboree. We wanted to do a more classic close up one with her chinese outfit on and it is our favorite! Enjoy!

This one is so elegant to me, I love the way the photographer captured her gazing off to the distant with a little smirk on her face..hehe.

We had a great weekend, spent with family and good friends. I am so ready for this Friday though, because we are FINALLY headed to tha beach of Charleston! Yay, yay, YAY! Umm Wrong Bed!

Funny story! Ok so we have a dog, Cookie, who Chloe just loves to pieces! She will follow Cookie all over the house sometimes trying to pet her, the poor dog, can't get a moments peace in this house! anywho Cookie has a little bed in the corner of our kitchen and the other day my mom said she turned around and Chloe was sitting IN Cookie's bed!! Side note: To remind you, this is our dog.....She is a 10 lb white pomeranian whos bed is pretty small, VERY small for a toddler who obviously took the time and energy to squeeze herself in it..hehe...Now almost everyday we catch Chloe sitting in it at least once during the day! I think she does it for attention though because she knows we will start cracking up when we see her in it.

Im back and will be catching up for a couple of days on recent Chloe activities/events that have happened in the past few weeks. Since i never got a chance to post the monthly Chloe day picture here ya go!!

Last week I decided to take Chloe outside and take a few pics of her sitting on the front steps of our house since it was a beautiful day, and she did great! she even "posed" for me (the top pic)! it was so funny and adorable at the same time. First off, today is Chloe's 17 month birthday AND 4 months since we returned home with Chloe...what a big girl she is becoming, and how far she has come since we've had her home!! I love her so very much

Ok so this not having my laptop for two weeks is really starting to get to me, i have found myself totally wandering around my room aimlessly each night trying to find something to fill the void in my life, and thus far i have watched about 10+ episodes of Law & Order:SVU and exactly 2 episodes of the Tyra Banks show each night for the past 10 days just trying to ease the no laptop pain =( NOT EASY! Seriously, after having a laptop with wireless internet for over a year now i honestly do not think i could live long without it, after the two weeks is up im probably going to be seeking some CAA meetings (Computer Addicts Anon.) to help me with this obsession, many hours of therapy WILL be needed. Ok just needed to vent a little...now as soon as i get my laptop back (im on my aunts now) I will probably be posting numerious times a day so look forward to that hopefully by the end of this week. Now on to pics of miss Chloe!

Just a quick post...im on my nana's computer and couldn't stand not to post a little update since it feels like forever since i've posted!! First off, in the lack of posting reasons, my laptop is currently on the fritz and will be for the next 2 weeks (ugggh) apparently someone *cough, Chloe, cough* has been yanking the cord out of my laptop forcing a lot of trama on it, making some internal problem thingy..anywho now it is going to have some kind of new thing installed in it so I can't get it back for 2 weeks....i hope to borrow my Aunt's computer for a while, so i can continue to post some pictures of miss CM, but if i dont get to then you know why!!

Sunday afternoon, Chloe decided she was going to surprise us and just started walking like no tomorrow, it was sooooo exciting and she was so proud of herself!! The look on her face when she walks now is just priceless!
We have purchased about 4 swimsuits for Miss CM, and tried one of the on her Sunday night, and she looked so sweet, I can't wait to go to the beach and watch Chloe play in the sand for the first time....its going to be awesome!!

**Tomorrow marks our 4th month as a family, so i will of course be having a little photoshoot and taking the monthly picture of Chloe, so check back tomorrow night for it!**

Well Chloe's playroom is now complete! The other day my moms friend came over and painted a quote from Mulan that I really wanted on the playroom wall, because I think it is a beautiful quote said by the Emperor of China, and it turned out great, im SO excited about it!! Chloe seems to LOVE her new playroom and we spend a lot of time in there at night before her bedtime. Click the collage to see it bigger.

BTW: I took these pictures the other day when Miss Chloe Madison was napping in the swing, so yes in the bottom middle picture shes asleep, lol!

I haven't taken many pictures of CM at all the past few days ( i know, bad Lindsey) so no Pic of tha day =(, BUT when Chloe wakes up from her nap we are headed to Kidsenses so I will definetly take some pics and post them later on tonight or tomorrow morning!!

What a perfect Easter, with the perfect baby girl!! We got all dressed up for church, came home changed into something comfy then me and Chloe watched her new video before taking a nice long nap, then got up refreshed and ready to eat Easter dinner with the family. This morning, me, mom and Chloe went to our church for Chloe's first Easter egg hunt....it was so much fun, Chloe seemed to really enjoy it!!! We are looking forward to Easter festivities tomorrow with little Miss Chloe Madison, tonight we dyed some Easter eggs, and tomorrow morning "The Easter Bunny" will drop off many goodies for our little princess! Wednesday me, mom and Chloe met up with the Newsome's again, this time just Madison and her mommy for a little "girls day" and took the little girls to Kidsenses which was a BLAST!! The girls LOVED it and got along so well, they were so sweet together and i love seeing them interact and have fun together! Just seeing them together again makes me smile, 2 PRECIOUS girls!!

Not much new to report here on the Chloe front, except Miss CM has realized that food is her best friend and just LOVES to eat (just like me!) she will eat, or at least try almost anything we put in front of her, yet she still has not reached the 20 lb. mark, apparently she has a fast metabolism (again, just like me!). Since there really isint much to say on this post i think im going to take the time to list a few things that Chloe loves at 16 months, because i LOVE looking back at things to see how much Chloe has changed:

~She loves Baby Einstein videos, especially Baby Mozart & Baby Noah

~For breakfast rice cereal with apples and Cherrios

~Her favorite dinner food is Mac & Cheese & Sugar free JellO vanilla pudding!

~For snack she LOVES Gerber Graduates sweet potato & strawberry/apple puffs & their arrowroot cookies and cheese crackers

~One of her new favorite snacks are these organic snack bars

~She still LOVES her warm milk bottles before nap and bedtime, and will drink water from her NuBy sippy cup

~our girl just LOVES bathtime

~She loves animals and makes the sweetest "ooohhh" noices and pokes her lips out when she wants to give them huggies and kisses..hehe SO sweet!

~She loves to go bye bye and be on the go

~Her washcloth must be close at hand at all times

~She still sucks her left middle finger & ring finger when shes sleepy

~she will dance to ANYTHING, including church hymns..very funny

~Loves toys of course, but has her favorite which include: this, this, and this

~Cell phones are still top on her list of things she loves to play with

~she loves to dig through purses and take everything out (she even has her own little purse)

~She's a people person and loves to observe people, she especially loves men..lol..its odd because sometimes we may not even know him and she will just reach her arms right up for him to pick her up..hilerious!

Since tomorrow marks Chloe's 16 month bday AND 3 months since we've been home, I decided to take Chloe to a playground so she could swing on a big swing for the first time ever, and boy did she LOVE it!! At first she was a bit scared but quickly realized it was fun and just started laughing and giggling like crazy, and had a big ol' time and even had her first "I.Dont.Wanna.Leave" meltdown when it was time to go. We had a blast in the beautiful spring weather we're having here in NC and i cant wait to take her back to swing again soon!! Enjoy the pics of my sweet girl!

Chloe continues to amaze me each and every day. This past week for example, Chloe seemed to grow and learn right in front of my eyes. It was insane, first she decided instead of biting a sippy cup she would actually drink water (which she NEVER drank before, because its cold and usually she only drinks hot liquids) out of this sippy cup, later that same day when i went to brush her little choppers (which BTW she usually HATES) she actually grabbed the toothbrush out of my hand and started brushing her own teeth, WOW! Then a few days later, while me mom and Chloe were visitng some relatives she stood up by herself without any assistance and balanced herself, which for her is BIG news!! Needless to say i was SO proud of my little sweetie =)

Well this week has been spent working on Chloe's playroom....we are currently redoing it and its almost finished..i cant wait to post pics of it on here!! Yep today marks the third month since we first held Chloe and became a family of 4! It seems like she's been here forever, but at the same time it doesnt feel like it's been 3 months since we first got to hold her and call her our's officially. Chloe has changed so much since that day, and has just blossomed and is such a happy little girl with a big personality that will leave you laughing, she is quite the comedian! As each day passes and Chloe changes more and more, that day in December is still close in mind for me as i remember the reserved solumn little baby who now can't keep a straight face if she tried, she just loves life!

Sometimes I look at Chloe and am totally in awe at what a fantastic transition she has had..i swear it feels like I have always known her as my sister and that she has been with us forever she is just a dream come true. Come sunday it will be 3 months since Chloe day and since that day when she was placed in our arms she has made leaps and bounds beyond my wildest expectations, she is joy, pure joy!

Sorry for taking so long to update, I had planned on posting yesterdays pics this morning but the internet was down, so im just now getting a chance to post....Yesterday (sunday) was a pretty relaxing day, but it was cooold =( after a week of pretty weather here comes the cold again which really upsets me because after all that nice weather i had gotten excited about summer, right when it gets bitter cold again!! Yesterday afternoon CM had some visitors come over to see her!! Catherine and Carlie (AKA the redheads) walked over to my house (Cat's dad lives in my neighborhood so they didnt walk far..lol) and we decided to put Chloe in the stroller and get some fresh (cold) air so I bundled CM up and plopped her in her stroller and off we went. Well obviously with 2 girls along i didn't get to stroll her long, because the whole time they were fighting over who was going to stroll her next..sheesh it was like a competition or something..lol. Well we went inside after we all got cold and watched a movie, so yea it was a pretty good day overall!! Enjoy the pics from yesterday and today!!!

So yesterday, mom, Chloe and I decided to go shopping for a couple of hours since we LOVE to shop! Well Chloe Madison of course got a bunch of new outfits for summer (like she NEEDED anything else to wear!) and we had a great time, CM was such a champ and just loves to be out and about! Weekends are just awesome! Here are the pics of the day from Saturday, but no pics on friday because poor CM had to get 5 shots and blood drawn at the doctor =( so she didn't feel like "posing" for any pictures.

Celebrations all Around!

Well since there is no 29th in Feb. today, March 1st might as well mark Chloe's 15 month b-day, & 2 months since we arrived home from China so happy birthday baby girl! Today was also one of my best friend Mary's 18th Birthday!!! So today was pretty much a triple happy day =). Very busy i must say!! Later on this weekend sometime im going to put together a little slideshow of me and Mary over the past years as a little post 18th birthday dedication post for her because we have been through so much together the past few years that i really want to do something special for her..so look for that =)

Ok so i've been a little busy playing with miss thang here lately and am just now getting a chance to post some pics from the past few days..lol...little Chloe Madison's personality has just blossomed over the past week and I am loving every second I spend with her..she ROCKS =)

Sunday it was raining so after Church me & Chloe decided to lay around watching Baby Einstein all day...she was a little ham posing for the camera!

Chloe doesn't seem to understand that shes supposed to DRINK out of the sippy cup instead of playing with it!! We're working on that!!!

Happy Year of the Pig!

Chloe's still sick but doing a lot better, still has to be kept inside all day so we weren't able to celebrate CNY (Chinese New Year) like i had hoped but just having her home was cause for a celebration! So since Chloe is so young i decided to just get her a little gift for CNY and of course it had to be a pig because this is the year of the boar!

Chloe didn't know what to think of the pig at first..especially when you press the snout and it makes pig noises she couldn't figure it out!

It was still just a normal day celebrated with our little "Barnyard Cutie!"

............has hit my house =[sick sick sick, every single one of us in my house and i mean EVERYONE even the dog is sick =[

Poor little Chloe Madison is one sick little girl, she was poked and prodded yesterday to find out she has bronchial pnemonia and is confined inside the house for the next week and has to have 4 nebulizer treatments a day...not fun =[ i hate seeing my little princess sick!

my dad is coughing all the time and now has a nebulizer that he has to use 3 times a day along with a huge amount of meds he has to take that knocks him out cold.....

my mom is also coughing..every time she laughs she ends up sounding like she is going to cough up a lung at any given moment...

As for me, im not near as bad as the rest of the crew, just dealing with allergies as usual but on top of that this morning i woke up with a KILLER headache , forcing me to sleep most of the day away then stayed in the bed watching law and order re-runs on tnt...

As for Valentines day...not the best one =[ and the pictures of our sweetie in her valentine outfit were taken a few days ago...i miss that happy little girl and can't wait until i get to see that smile again! No pictures for a little while until she gets feeling better..for now i will leave you with a few pictures...one of her with her "mickey ears" on..the ears i bought her when my mom and I went to Disneyland on our trip to L.A last June...

Tonight in North Carolina we witnessed the biggest game of the season between 2 huge NC rivals, the UNC Tar Heels and Duke (dukie!) well here at my house we are TAR HEEL FANS and of course little Chloe Madison is falling in my footsteps ;) So to get pumped for the big game Chloe wore her brand new Heel cheerleading outfit..sooooooo cute! And guess who won....yup THE TAR HEELS! But of course who wouldnt win with such an adorable cheerleader rooting them on! YEAH!

Good Friends, A New Ride, & Piggytails!

I'm playing catch up since im a little behind on blogging...well last saturday night, we went to eat with the Newsome family, who was in our travel group and who also live very close to us AND whose daughter, Madison Mei was Chloe Madison's orphanage sister in Maonan SWI, so with everything we have in common we couldn't stand not seeing each other and have decided to get together at least once a month so the girls can continue to see each other grow. Anyways during the trip to China we grew very close to every family in our group and consider everyone lifelong friends of ours who share this amazing bond that no one can break! After a great meal and much laughter we decided to get someone to take a picture of our families...and it turned out quite well i think!

So after that, Me, mom, dad and Chloe went to Target to do a little shopping and decided to buy Chloe a new "ride" to celebrate our one month since returning from China...when we got home and put it together she was so excited and just LOVES to ride it..its so adorable!

Also earlier that week i was babysitting Chloe while mom went and got her hair done, so I decided to just try and put her hair in little piggytails for the first time and to my surprise she actually didn't mind me putting them in and kept both in for at least 30 minutes!! She looked darling and i cannot wait until this summer when she has a little more hair to put more piggytails in...hehe =).....

She was stylin in her pink Gymboree outfit and so excited to get to see Mason again and Mason was SO excited to see her too! He is such a caring little boy who kept on touching her and kissing her head when she cried..it was just SO adorable!

Baby Dedication & a Celebration

Last Sunday, Chloe was dedicated at our church along with about 7 other babies ( 2 of which are twin boys!)..so needless to say, Chloe will have many playmates at the church to grow up with! Baby dedication is where parents and other family members promise to raise their child with the Christian beliefs, the babies each get a little bible at the end of the service. Miss. Chloe Madison had on her beautiful white silk Chinese dress on and if i say so myself looked precious!!

Later that night, one of my best friends Mary had a little "no more chemo" party! It was just a time to celebrate this momentious time, when after 2 years, Mary is officially cancer free and finished with chemo =). Of couse Chloe Madison wanted to go and show Mary how much she loved her and of course I took pictures..LOL.
